چرا واقعا؟
من دلایل مشخصی برای اینکه چرا این سبک را نمی‌پسندم دارم.
مهم‌تر از همه برایم این سطح از سمبولیسم اغراق‌شده و افراطی‌ست.
من این جلوه‌های متاموزیکال را نمی‌توانم به عنوان کاستی در متن ِ موزیک
و کیفیت ِ آن نبینم.

این گروه رو می‌شناسم. آهنگ Guardians of Asgaard را ازشون شنیدم. آهنگ‌های شنگول و در عین حال سفت و سختی میسازن. هم ملودیکن هم متال. خوبن. سلیقه‌ی خوبی دارین.

چرا واقعا؟
من دلایل مشخصی برای اینکه چرا این سبک را نمی‌پسندم دارم.
مهم‌تر از همه برایم این سطح از سمبولیسم اغراق‌شده و افراطی‌ست.
من این جلوه‌های متاموزیکال را نمی‌توانم به عنوان کاستی در متن ِ موزیک
و کیفیت ِ آن نبینم.
بستگی به طرز دیدتون به هنر داره. برای من این گروه و گروه‌های متال دیگه و حتی بطور کلی هر موسیقی‌دانی، هر فیلم سازی، نقاشی، نویسنده‌ای، طراح لباسی و ... همه Poser هستند. همه دارن به چیزی وانمود میکنن و هیچکدوم نمیتونن واقعن اونچیزی رو که میگن هستن، باشن. از این حیث هیچ برام فرقی نداره که چه مقدار سمبول بکار ببرن و چقدر به چیزی که نیستن وانمود کنن. هر چه بیشتر سمبول بکار ببرن سرگرم کننده تر و جذاب ترن. (بله من دیدی نسبتا مصرف گرایانه به هنر دارم و در هنر بدنبال کشف حقایق زندگی و رمز و رموز هستی نیستم. چرا که حقایق زندگی تنها از طریق زندگی کردن و از طریق تجربه دست اول شخصی بدست میان نه از طریق پنجره هنرمند.)
من هنر رو بطور کلی صرفا برای تاثیر آنی که بر من میگذاره، مصرف میکنم. برای مثال موسیقی متال و بخصوص بلک متال رو به این خاطر بیشتر میپسندم چونکه فقط این سبک موسیقی هست که میتونه آمیگدالم رو تحریک کنه و اون تاثیر آنی رو بر من بگذاره.
اینجا جاش نیست ولی حتی اگر بخایم اندکی فراتر هم بریم، بنظر من "جایگاه اجتماعی و قدرت اجتماعی" که ما به هنر و هنرمند میدیم صرفا بخاطر همین تاثیر آنی هست که بر ما میگذاره نه بخاطر این که واقعیتی متعالی (رو که اساسا فاقدش هست) بهمون منتقل کرده. بعبارتی یکنفر از طریق "رهبری گله" جایگاه و قدرت اجتماعی برای خودش میسازه یکنفر از طریق تاثیرگذاری بر آمیگدال!
